Over the past few years we have relied on Host Ireland's development expertise for a number of key projects.
These include a custom, highly configurable FTP server solution that allows us to manage many thousands of uploads from our member base. A comprehensive control panel provides a complex set of rules for setting access to files and groups thereof.
Says Chris Donnelly (Retail IT Manager, ADM Londis plc):"The FTP Application has handled over 1M Transactions in 12 months with better than 99.99% availability, this has also allowed us track all our customer e-transactions from system to system and has resulted in 100's of support hours saved by both store and group alike!"
Another project is our 'eSVB' (for electronic Service Books) application. Originally intended as a simple single form survey, Host Ireland's vision, forethought and understanding of our business processes has allowed this to scale to a flexible survey and automated form building module, saving us vast amounts of paperwork and drastically cutting workload - putting us ahead of our competitors in the way we handle this critical data.
"What began as the e-SVB has now become the primary customer contact portal, we will be further interfacing this our new CRM Solution later this year to give us a full 360° view of customers, truly market leading, ensuring that at all times we devote our resources to our customers that need them before they even make a request!"
The most recent project has been rolling out online ordering for our large customer base. This big step forward in how we interface with clients has met with a most positive response - streamlining order capture for both clients and ourselves. Again Host Ireland's insight and initiative has proved invaluable.
